Band council tips:

Try to forge an agreement with SPCA or other non-profit organizations to spay and/or neuter dogs and cats on reserve

Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC) does workshops in First Nations communities regarding the Canada Labour Code if requested.

Infrastructure & Community Maps


Communities should ensure that all FINAL DRAFT maps remain in the community once contractors have finished their jobs, so that any future projects (e.g., digging) will not disrupt previous work. 

Do not laminate maps as this will not preserve them.
